The agent of Alberto Moreno has claimed the defender would like a move to Real Madrid if an offer came in.
The Spanish giants have been linked with a move for the full-back in January, as he is viewed as a potential replacement for Marcelo, who is out injured.
Liverpool desperate to keep him
Current club Liverpool will be unwilling to let him leave, due to the fact he is viewed as a key player for the Reds. However, Jurgen Klopp may be forced into letting the Spaniard leave Anfield if Madrid make a bid, with the player’s agent (Javier Moya) claiming if they made a bid, then his client would fancy a move.
Moya said: “It’s logical that they ask about such an important player. They are asking about him. If a team like Real Madrid speak with us and Liverpool are satisfied with the operation, they could talk.
“If a team with the substance of Real Madrid makes an offer, it would be a joy for him. It’s difficult. Everyone knows the importance of Real Madrid but Liverpool have five European Cups. You have to give the first step to Liverpool.”
So, if the Bernabeu side do decide to launch a move for Moreno in January, the defender could very well agree to make the move to Spain.
