Five of the Premier League top clubs are all chasing Sevilla left back Alberto Moreno.
Moreno, 21, is seen as an alternate target to Southampton defender Luke Shaw. The race for him is being lead by Manchester United and Chelsea, while City, Liverpool and Arsenal are also eyeing the player amoung other left backs.
City’s sporting director Txiki Begiristain watched Moreno in action for Sevilla against Porto in the Europa League on Thursday night. The Spanish international is under contract until 2018, so Sevilla intend to hold out and try to recieve around £30million for him.
The bad news for Premier League clubs is that they are not the only ones looking at him, Spanish giants Real Madrid have also targeted the young left back.
