The forward has had his loan deal at Malaga cut short
Luis Alberto looks likely to make a return to Liverpool this summer.
The 22-year old spent last season on loan at Malaga and he was supposed to stay on at the club for a further year. However, the Spanish club are expected to cut his loan deal short and send him back to England.
During his short time at Liverpool before his loan, he barely featured for the club, spending most of his time on the bench. It resulted in him being sent to the Liga BBVA and he started out well for Malaga, scoring the winning goal on his debut.
Another loan deal or permanent move
However, he ended up making just six league starts after falling down the pecking order at the Spanish side and it now looks as if he will be on his way back to the Premier League early.
The Reds are unlikely to start him in the next campaign and they will most likely look to send him out on loan again or even to sell him on permanently to another club.
