Reports in Spain suggest Chilean has told Arsene Wenger to sign striker
According to reports, Alexis Sanchez has urged Arsene Wenger to bring Javier Hernandez to Arsenal.
The Mexican forward is in red-hot form for Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen, and is already being linked with a surprise move back to the Premier League.
Hernandez left England over the summer after being told he was not needed at Manchested United by Louis van Gaal, and Leverkusen snapped him up for as little as £7million.
Since completing the move, Hernandez has been on fire in front of goal and he’s astonishingly scored 17 in his last 14 games, which has brought criticism to Van Gaal for selling him in the first place, especially with United struggling for goals themselves.
Return to England
Despite only just leaving England, Hernandez is reportedly interested in returning to the Premier League, with Arsenal interested, and it’s claimed that Alexis has already urged Wenger to snap him up.
Arsenal are heavy reliant on Olivier Giroud as their main-striker, with Theo Walcott another possibility, but with injuries a problem at the Emirates Stadium, another striker would be a welcomed addition.
