Andre-Pierre Gignac has suggested that he will leave Marseille in the summer and has hinted at a possible switch to Inter Milan.

The Frenchman who seems to be scoring at will for Marseille, scoring 11 goals in 15 Ligue 1 matches this campaign had been linked with a possible move to England.

Liverpool had looked the favourites to sign the striker, who is out of contract at the end of the summer, until Gignac spoke with Gazzetta dello sport saying;

“I think I will leave late in the season. I want a top-flight challenge. I will consider all proposals carefully.”

“Inter are an institution, [Roberto] Mancini is a great coach, it would be a nice prospect.

“I look at all the major championships and I admire the tactical culture of Italy.”
