According to reports in Italy, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set to reject interest from Chelsea and join Milan.
The striker is wanted by Conte and it was reported over the weekend that the Premier League champions were close to sealing a club record £65m deal for the 28-year-old.
Aubameyang is prepared to leave Borussia Dortmund this summer and reports claim he almost joined Chinese side Tianjin Quanjian recently.
But now Serie A giants AC Milan have kicked off their interest in Aubameyang and he is keen to join the Milan revolution, with Gazzetta dello Sport reporting a deal is close.
According to the report, the Serie A giants have offered him a deal worth £220,000-a-week.
Conte is desperate to land a new striker having told Diego Costa he can leave this summer and if these reports are true, this is yet another blow to the Stamford Bridge outfit.
