Antonio Conte furious over Chelsea new manager rumours

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has hit out at rumours that he is set to leave Stamford Bridge and be replaced by former Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti.

When speaking prior to Saturday’s match against Bournemouth earlier this week, Conte told press that it was “bullshit” and that the reports were disrespectful towards him.

Conte even revealed that compatriot Ancelotti had to message him to confirm that the stories were not true and that he had indeed not been contracted about a return to West London.

“There is a lot of bullshit,” Conte said. “If I see the past it happened the same with a lot of managers. A lot of bullshit. They try to create problems between me, the club and the players.

“If someone is happy to continue to write this I answer very well in the past. I am answering very well about these different issues. This is a lack of respect,” he continued.

“I think this is incorrect and it is not good that this person has to send me a message to tell me: ‘I am sorry but this is not true, I am sorry, if you want to do an interview, I am ready.” Why put another person in this bullshit? If you want to hit me, hit me. This is incorrect and I hate this type of situation.”

The former Juventus and Italy manager signed a new contract with the Blues in the summer, although speculation concerning an exit continues especially with Chelsea’s indifferent start to the season.

Ancelotti on the other hand is now without a club after being sacked by Bayern Munich in September, but a return to Stamford Bridge looks unlikely with Milan the favourites to bring him back.
