Antonio Conte has revealed he was shocked to hear music being played in the dressing room before matches.

When the Italian took over the helm at Stamford Bridge the one thing he didn’t expect to hear was music blasting before matches in the locker rooms.

Throughout Conte’s career there has never been such a thing, well not at Juventus, nor during this time managing the Italian National team or during his playing time for that matter.

It just didn’t happen, but with the new wave of players entering the scene throughout the years, things have changed and the Italian tactician at first found it a little unusual, however, he has since got used to it and allows the player to play whatever they want to.

“In Italy there isn’t music before the game in the changing-room – this doesn’t exist,” he said.

“In these six months, seven months, I learned it’s not important if there is the music or not.

“It’s important to be focused, to be prepared to face the game.

“If there is the music it’s important to see in the eyes of my players the right concentration.

“Until now I always see this.”
