The Gunners have held contact with Lyon over a potential move for the striker
Arsenal are continuing to keep an eye on Alexandre Lacazette, according to reports.
The Gunners have had a keen interest in the Lyon man for some time now and as they continue to search for a suitable striker to bring in, their attention has once again turned to the Frenchman.
The club has held talks with Lyon again over a potential deal and an official bid could soon be launched in a bid to try and land the 25-year old this summer.
West Ham remain eager
Olivier Giroud has been the main striker for Arsenal over the past few seasons and now Arsene Wenger is on the lookout for another striker to help the former Montpellier man out up-front next season.
Giroud could soon be teaming with a fellow Frenchman if these reports are anything to go by.
However, the Gunners could face competition from West Ham, who still remain eager to try and tie up a deal for Lacazette themselves, after having a bid turned down earlier this summer.
The asking price though for the striker is rather steep – the Hammers had a £31m bid turned down, with Lyon demanding at least £41m for his services.
