Arsene Wenger is looking set to land Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata- if Arsenal can can agree to a ‘buy-back clause’ in the players contract. The Gunners have held further talks with Real Madrid over a summer deal, and Real look ready to do buisness for a fee of ÂŁ8million, on the condition they can buy back Morata for a fixed price in two years time.
Wenger rates the player highly and sees him as a future star at the club. The Londoners are also looking at a number of highly rated stars to buy over the summer as well, with Bayern Munich’s Mario Mandzukic looking like a possible target. Nuremberg striker Josip Drmic is also another option.
