Premier League giants Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea have been warned about facing competition for Sami Khedira.
The German international is out of contract at the end of the season and will be able to talk to other clubs in the summer about a free move.
Several European teams are interested in the Real Madrid star, who featured in the 2014 World Cup win in Brazil.
Bundesliga outfit Schalke are one of the favourites to sign Khedira, as he reportedly wants to return to Germany.
When speaking to media outlet Bild, Schalke Chairman Clemens Tonnies said: “It’s my impression that Khedira wants to return to the Bundesliga. I believe he does not doubt that for a second. I believe there aren’t too many clubs in Germany coming into question.”
Khedira began his career in the Bundesliga playing for Stuttgart.
