Midfielder is a free agent in the Summer

Arsenal star Tomas Rosicky is all but certain to leave the Gunners in the summer transfer window.

The playmaker, who’s current deal expires in the summer, is set to join former club Sparta Prague and become the biggest paid player in the Czech league.

Sparta owner Daniel Kretinsky has commented on the possible transfer, he said: “It is not a secret that my big wish is his comeback to Sparta. The only question is when.”

The Czech side held secret and advanced talks with the 34-year-old about a move in winter but the deal fell through once he came back from injury.

Club Wants Rosicky

Sparta board member Jakub Obtava also commented on the possible transfer, he said: “We would like to get Tomas back to Sparta and we believe that we will be successful. The question is when it would happen and that depends on him.

“Our interest is solid and long-term.” he added.

Rosicky is attracting plenty of interest from clubs all around the world and has had several offers from MLS sides, which he is yet to turn down.

Sparta Prague will offer Rosicky ÂŁ26,000-a-week deal to persuade him to re-sign for the club.
