Arsenal have launched an official £29 million pound bid to sign highly-rated Palmero forward Paulo Dybala.

President of the Serie A club, Mauro Zamparini revealed on Italian station Radio Marte that both Juventus and Arsenal are currently the only two clubs who have made offers for the wanted striker.

‘Juventus and Arsenal have already made offers,’ he said.

‘The lad’s agent will be in Italy on Friday and I’m asking for more than €40m (£29m)’.

With Dybala understood to be keen on staying in Italy however, there is no doubt that the Premier League would be an offer that he could not refuse.

This was also confirmed by the players agent who stated that: ‘Dybala would prefer to stay in Italy, but among the British teams Arsenal are his first choice because of the way Wenger’s team plays.’
