Gunners to break the bank to keep Sanchez
Arsenal have reportedly offered Alexis Sanchez the chance to become the highest paid player in Premier League history to stay the Emirates.
The 28-year old has been pressing to leave Arsenal this season, with potential transfers to Chelsea, Man City and Juventus all being rumoured.
The Gunners were reluctant to meet his wage demands but are now ready to shatter that reluctance to keep him at the club.
The Chile international has become increasingly frustrated in recent weeks as Arsenal have lost seven of their past 12 games in all competitions and fans have called for manager Arsene Wenger to step down at the end of the season.
The new deal could see him go from earning £130,000 per week to £300,000 per week. surpassing Paul Pogba’s current record wage of £290,000 per week.
