Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is ready to revamp his squad this summer, as he is prepared to axe FIVE first team players

According to Football Insider, the Frenchman is willing to listen to offers for  both full-backs Kieran Gibbs and Mathieu Debuchy, who could join the list of already departing players Mathieu Flamini, Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky- as their contracts run out at the end of the season.

The Gunner’s midfield is becoming increasingly older, and these ageing players will no doubt be shown the door on the date of their contract expiry. Though Arsenal fans will be shocked to hear the news that Wenger is ready to let 2 first team full-backs leave the club.

Kieran Gibbs, at just 26 years old is the main shock that the fans will be expecting the least. Gibbs is both young and carries bags of experience, and will be missed by the London club should he depart the club. He was the name on the fan’s lips when he scored the winner in the North London derby earlier this season.

Debuchy however, who is currently on loan at French side Bordeaux, is looking likely to leave the Emirates after publicly criticising Wenger for not letting him join Manchester United.

Arteta to join Guardiola?

it has been mentioned that Pep Guardiola wants Mikel Arteta to join him at Manchester City next year- though not on the pitch. The Spanish Manager wants the current Gunner to be part of the backroom staff next season and sign on as a coach with the Manchester club.
