Arsenal are ready to offer FC Porto £25.4million bid for Jackson Martinez.
The Colombian striker has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League after yet another superb season in Portugal, and with Arsenal and Liverpool both interested, it’s expected that he will be on the move at the end of the season.
After watching him closely over the last few months, it’s believed Arsenal will lodge a formal bid in the Summer, despite Olivier Giroud’s form and signing Danny Welbeck over the Summer, and the bid is thought to be worth around £25.4m.
It’s reported that Porto would accept that bid, despite Martinez having a £29m release clause in his contract.
