We expect Arsenal to win 1-0 at 8.00 with bet365
With the Baggies without a win in 19 matches, this is a fixture that Arsenal will be expecting to win. They beat Crystal Palace 3-1 on Thursday night and are the team in form coming into the match.
However, in the thick of the Christmas period there is also the issue of fatigue taking it’s toll. The Hawthorn’s is always a tough place to visit no matter the circumstance, so don’t think that the result is a foregone conclusion.
In the Premier League anybody can beat anybody (apart from Manchester City this season, it seems…), but despite this we do still think Arsenal will win given the quality they have at 1.72 with bet365.
When you have gone such a long time without winning, confidence is on the floor and each game becomes harder and harder. Sometimes it takes a bit of luck, which West Brom haven’t had lately.
It will no doubt be a closely contested match on New Year’s Eve, and we think just the one goal could separate the two teams. A 1-0 Arsenal win is our prediction at 8.00 with bet365.
Arsenal face West Brom in the last Premier League match of 2017 on Sunday night. Having not won since August – a run that stretches 19 matches – the Baggies will be looking to end the year on a high at home to the Gunners.
Arsenal may be down in 6th as things stand, but they are firmly in the race for at least the top four and are only 6 points behind Man Utd in second. On Thursday they were 3-1 winners away at Crystal Palace, with Alexis Sanchez scoring twice.
As mentioned, West Brom are having a nightmare of a season and are an incredible 19 matches without a win. That form lead to Tony Pulis’ sacking, but new manager Alan Pardew hasn’t fared any better so far. They drew 0-0 with Everton on Boxing Day.
West Brom Form: DLLDLD
The two teams have met 41 times before, with Arsenal dominating the head-to-head with 26 wins. Palace have beaten the Gunners just 4 times in their history, including a 3-0 win in their last meeting back in April. The other 11 matches ended in draws.
Arsenal will be without Aaron Ramsey and Oliver Giroud, who could be out until February with a hamstring injury. Santi Cazorla is still out, meanwhile West Brom are missing former Tottenham winger Nacer Chadli.
Away win: Arsenal to win at 1.72 with bet365
Arsenal to win 1-1 at 8.00 with bet365
