Arsene Wenger says Arsenal need ‘exceptional rhythm’ and Chelsea to ‘Fade’  if they want a chance to catch them

Arsenal currently sit 13 points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea in fourth place, but the Gunners have a game in hand.

While there has been concerns from the fans about Wengers starting XI picks, the Frenchman remains confident their season in not over yet.

Arsenal will  travel to Anfield to face Liverpool on Saturday (5.30pm) and can move four points clear of fifth-placed Reds with a win.

“We have to focus on our next game,” Wenger said of Arsenal’s title hopes.

“We have a game in hand, things can change quickly but to do things like that (catch Chelsea).

“You need exceptional rhythm in your results. We also need Chelsea to fade as well.

“At the moment, I think it’s more important we focus on winning our games and focus on our next game rather than dreaming of coming back to Chelsea.”
