Antonie Griezmann has ruled out any speculation linking him with Chelsea.
The Frenchman believes in Simeone.
Griezmann, who has been in sensational form this season has attracted a lot of interest in the current transfer window. Clubs accross Europe have been linked with the forward, however in a recent interview the Frenchman has shared his view on the matter.
The Spanish side have put an eye watering £75m fee on the strikers head to deter potential bidders. One of which is Chelsea who have been linked with the player. Struggling for goals Guus Hiddink will be looking to add another striker to the ranks.
“When the boss told the press that I’m such an important player, it made me want to stay even more,” he said.
“I wasn’t looking for another team or anything, but now I think about it even less.”
“The sporting directors have been speaking to him directly, with those close to him, in order to work out what’s best for him and the club,” said Simeone.
“Of course he’s a very important player for us, but we can’t hold him here with chains.”
