Chris Ramsey claims they are both likely to leave the club this summer

Charlie Austin and Leroy Fer look likely to leave QPR this summer, according to Chris Ramsey.

Both have been linked with moves away from Loftus Road all summer and speculation about their future only increased when both of them sat out the R’s pre-season game against Atalanta.

Now, boss Chris Ramsey has admitted that the two of them are likely to leave the club before the transfer window closes. He told BBC Sport: “People are very interested. We know it’s a financial situation where the players, given the right offer, will probably go.

“Selfishly, I hope nobody comes in for them.”

Midfielder Fer has been linked with a move to Sunderland in recent days, with reports claiming that he was likely to make the move, on loan, as soon as this week. Rivals Newcastle United are the team currently in pole position to land Austin.
