Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have been dealt a blow in their efforts to land Brazilian right-back Dani Alves, as Barcelona look set to offer him a new deal.
Alves has stated his desire to remain at the Nou Camp, but has been linked with PSG and United consistently this season as well as Liverpool and Arsenal.
Alves has made 30 appearances for Barca this season but has yet to be offered a new contract, but that is set to change.
Barcelona are currently under a transfer embargo due to illegal signings of under-age players which broke UEFA laws.
