Barcelona are looking to sell former Everton winger Gerard Deulofeu according to reports.
Barcelona are looking to offload players and are apparently very eager to get rid of Deulofeu but the problem is.. nobody seems to be interested.
Sport report that so far, Napoli are the only ones to have registered interest but haven’t made an offer yet.
Napoli are looking at Lucas Moura and Ajax’s Amin Younes also.
Barcelona are looking for a fee of around €18m.
But now, West Ham are reportedly on the verge of signing the former Everton man according to reports from El Gol Digital. They claim the Hammers are willing to pay £20m for the Spanish winger.
The 23-year-old started out his career at Barca and then moved to Everton on loan and joined on a permanent deal in 2015. He never quite broke into the Everton first-team though, despite his talent, and moved to AC Milan on loan.
From there he moved back to his boyhood club Barcelona.
But now, it seems they want to move him on too. The talented winger is fantastic with the ball and has great vision so it’s a mystery why he can’t seem to settle at one club.
But it seems he’s available and could be bought on the cheap so it’s a mystery why nobody is really going for him. There has been contact from Roma too and he could join, especially if Roma let both Emerson and Dzeko go to Chelsea.
Sporting director Monchi stated that he wouldn’t want to weaken the team and would look to replace any outgoing players.
