Spanish giants, Barcelona, are ready to make a bid for Manchester United goalkeeper, David De Gea.
The Catalan club has made it clear that they think De Gea could be the long-term replacement for veteran, Victor Valdes.
It has been made clear that when the goalkeeper was a youth at Athletico Madrid, Barcelona were offered him for ÂŁ500,000, which they rejected.
The Spanish goalkeeper then ended up signing for Manchester United in the summer of 2011 for a fee of ÂŁ17.8m, however, since joining, he has found it hard to hold onto the number one spot because of competition with Anders Lindegaard.
