Bayern Munich have opened talks for Liverpool youngster Raheem Sterling
The Bundesliga champions have today declared their interest in 20-year old Raheem Sterling after reports said that the winger would not sign a new deal at Liverpool.
Sterling Snub
Liverpool have apparently offered a £100,000 a week contract but Sterling looks set to turn it down in favour of a move away from the club in the summer. The German champions have become alerted by this and are looking to sign the youngster this summer.
Pep Guardiola‘s brother, Pere, who is a football agent has been in contact with Sterling and his contractual team to make Liverpool aware of their interest.
Bayern Munich Interest
Bayern are looking to bring fresh and younger players in this summer after missing out on the Champions League glory for the last two years and it looks like Sterling is a replacement for either Arjen Robben or Franck Ribery.
Sterling has two years left on his current deal and is to meet Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers and chief executive Ian Ayre on Friday to discuss the contract.
