Bayern Munich have warned rival clubs they will be reported to FIFA if any illegal approach is made over their striker Robert Lewandowski.

Chelsea and Manchester United have both been reported to have lodged enquiries for the Poland international

It’s understood to have been happened over the past week after Lewandowski’s agent said that he was not happy at the club.

A club statement read: ‘Lewandowski’s contract expires 2021, he signed it not long ago.

‘Lewandowski does not want to leave Bayern. There are no talks with other clubs and there won’t be any.

‘If other clubs negotiate with long time contract players they risk a FIFA penalty.’

Lewandowski extended his contract last December to 2021 and Bayern are taking drastic measures to ensure he stays with them.
