David Ospina and John Obi Mikel on their radar

Turkish side Besiktas are ready to sign two Premier League players in the shape of David Ospina and John Obi Mikel from Arsenal and Chelsea respectively.

The Super Lig outfit were close to landing the Nigerian from Stamford Bridge over the summer, only to see Jose Mourinho block the deal at the last minute.

Despite the Blues boss preventing the deal from going ahead, he’s still yet to play Mikel regularly, and the midfielder is now ready to end his long-term association with the club in January.

Ospina Interest

As for Ospina, he has fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium since the arrival of Petr Cech and if he’s dropped for tomorrow’s crucial Champions League tie against Bayern Munich, he could leave the club.

Besiktas are interested in the Colombian shot-stopper as they narrowly missed out on Victor Valdes from Manchester United over the summer, and the club are still adamant on signing a new goalkeeper once the winter window opens.

The Turkish side are confident they can land the Premier League duo, but the prices will have to be right to get the deals over the line in the New Year.
