Borussia Dortmund have admitted that they have stopped holding contract talks with German star, Marco Reus, hotting up speculation linking him with a move to the Premier League.

The 25-year-old, who is one of Dortmund’s star-players, has been strongly linked with a move away from the Bundesliga next Summer, and with contract talks stalling, a move to England has been widely reported.

Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool have all been monitoring the German international, with reports claiming The Gunners were close to signing him this Summer, only for a deal to fall through due to injury.

In a recent interview, Dortmund’s sporting director, Michael Zorc, has admitted that contract talks have ended and they are fully focused on their performances on the pitch.

“Nothing has changed about our intentions to continue our collaboration with Marco,” Zorc told Bild.

“But the current situation demands full focus from everybody at the club. Our biggest priority at the moment is to get out of this difficult situation. Everything else comes after that for now.”
