Chelsea are set to make a sensational move to re-sign David Luiz before the window shuts.
It’s thought that the Blues have bid £32million to being the defender back to Stamford Bridge, who left for PSG for more like £50million just two years ago.
Chelsea are growing increasingly frustrated in their search for a new centre-back after seeing bids turned down for both Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly and AC Milan’s Alessio Romagnoli.
They also enquired about signing Luiz’s teammate Marquinhos last week but have been told by the French champions that Luiz may be allowed to leave.
The centre-back has been less than a huge hit in France and is struggling for form. He was taken off last week by new boss Unai Emery after giving away a penalty.
