Striker leaves Crystal Palace in £4million deal

AFC Bournemouth have announced the arrival of Glenn Murray from Crystal Palace in a deal worth £4million.

The striker was undergoing a medical earlier today after he arrived at the club, and it’s now been confirmed that the deal has been done and finalised.

Murray will link up with Callum Wilson, who has netted four goals already this season, including a hat-trick against West Ham United during their 4-3 victory at Upton Park.

Palace agreed to sell Murray after they signed both Patrick Bamford and Connor Wickham earlier in the summer from Chelsea and Sunderland respectively.

Despite Murray ending last season in good goal-scoring form, Alan Pardew told him he could move on, and he will now link-up with his new team-mates at the Vitality Stadium.
