German has taken over from Brendan Rodgers at Anfield
Liverpool Football Club have announced the appointment of Jurgen Klopp on a three-year deal.
The Reds have been in talks with the German over the past week, since Brendan Rodgers was sacked on Sunday following a 1-1 draw with Everton.
Liverpool officials made Klopp their number-one target after he left Borussia Dortmund at the end of last season, and after several talks, the German agreed to a three-year deal in Merseyside.
Formal Talks
Klopp and Liverpool held talks yesterday, before the manager flew into Merseyside earlier today to finalise the deal.
The club announced that a press conference would be held on Friday at 10:00, but they have officially announced on their website that Klopp is the new manager at Anfield.
Full quotes from Klopp will be released tomorrow.
