Manager could take over at Liberty Stadium

Brendan Rodgers could be set for a managerial return ahead of next season as his former-club Swansea City are keen on re-hiring him.

The Northern Irishman has been out of a job following his dismissal from Liverpool earlier this season, but he could be back in the dugout ahead of the 2016/2017 campaign.

According to reports, Swansea‘s current head-coach, Francesco Guidolin, is keen on taking over from Antonio Conte as Italy‘s manager, and he’s confident enough he can get the role.

Rodgers Returning?

Guidolin will likely leave the Liberty Stadium at the end of the season in order to apply for the Italy job, with Conte expected to take over at Chelsea after the European Championships.

Should the Swans boss step down, he could be replaced by Rodgers, who enjoyed a successful stint with the Welsh club before taking over at Anfield.
