Chelsea have loaned Izzy Brown to Premier League newcomers Brighton

Brighton and Hove Albion have officially signed attacker Izzy Brown from Chelsea on a season-long loan on Monday.

The 20-year-old, was originally wanted by Huddersfield, as he had helped them to promotion during his loan spell last season.

But now he has instead chose to make the move to the south coast.

Brighton boss Chris Hughton told the club’s official website: “The natural progression for Izzy, having enjoyed such a successful season in the Championship last season, was to step up to the Premier League. We are delighted he will be doing that with us here at Brighton.

“He is a player with great potential and will bring a different dimension to our attacking options for the season ahead, alongside our existing strikers.”
