Chelsea have apparently won the race to sign Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko
According to Spanish football expert Balague, The Blues have already agreed a deal with Bakayoko as long as a fee can be agreed with Monaco.
The transfer still has someway to go though and the door is open for City or another club to come in and offer Monaco a bigger fee.
“Monaco’s Bakayoko has agreed personal terms with Chelsea,” Balague said on Twitter. “Next step is for Chelsea to pay Monaco more than anybody else for the midfielder.”
Blues boss Antonio Conte is reportedly planning a number of big signings in the summer as he prepares the Champions League, and Bakayoko could be the first of many.
