Chelsea agree terms with Antonio Conte replacement

Former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique is emerging as a front-runner to replace Antonio Conte at Chelsea, and according to reports in Daily Star, he has agreed terms for a deal.

Conte is already under fire at Stamford Bridge, and his situation worsened after his side’s 4-1 defeat to Watford recently.

The other contenders to replace Conte include Massimiliano Allegri (Juventus), Maurizio Sarri (Napoli), Diego Simeone (Atletico Madrid) and Sean Dyche (Burnley).

Apart from Barcelona, Enrique has worked with AS Roma and Celta Vigo. He left Barcelona last season, and hasn’t picked up any assignment since.

Despite getting an offer to restart his managerial career at Sevilla, Enrique continued his sabbatical and has been away from managing the game.

It is being said that the 47-year-old could be roped in and might sign a tw0-year deal in June this year.
