‘He can be a star for us next season’ insists Special One
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is adamant that Juan Cuadrado will have a major role at the club after an indifferent start to his Blues career.
Cuadrado has struggled to win over the fans since arriving from Fiorentina in January. He was even abused by disgruntled supported against Southampton.
The man who went the other way as part of the Cuadrado deal meanwhile, Mohammed Salah, has shined for the Viola, earning rave reviews.
Big Season
Mourinho insists, though, that Cuadrado will have a major part to play next season.
The Special One said: “I just know that it’s different to play in Italy than England, different to play for Fiorentina than for Chelsea.
“A player needs time and I am ready to give him time. The club is ready to give him time. It looks like he’s ready to have this time.
“Next season, i believe he can have a fantastic season.”
