According to reports, Chelsea are closing in on the signing of Antonio Rudiger from Roma.
Antonio Rüdiger is a German footballer who plays as a defender for Italian club A.S. Roma and the Germany national football team
Both Di Marzio and The Telegraph are reporting this and the player’s agent is expected in London to finalize a deal. Chelsea agreed a deal for the 22-year-old right sided German centre back last season before the player got injured during preseason. He was sidelined for five months before returning to the Roma lineup and has also featured for Germany in this years Confederations Cup.
But if a deal does go through, Chelsea are expected to pay £30 million.
