Blues young defender Kenneth Omeruo is making a move over to the Turkish Süper Lig to join Champions Besiktas.
According to CaughtOffside, who claim that a close source to Omeruo told them that the Turkish Giants have reached an agreement with Chelsea Football Club to take the player on a season-long loan and that the 22-year-old will be arriving in Istanbul sometime this week to undergo a medical.
Omeruo was just one of 26 Blues players loaned out last season by Jose Mourinho and is one of just two who joined the Turkish Super Lig on a temporary move.
The Nigerian international defender will not only have the chance to play in a title wining side, but he will also get a taste of Champions League football as Besiktas look to take on Europe’s finest next season.
Omeruo gained some experience in the Turkish Süper Lig with 25 appearances for Kasimpasa last season.
