Blues want to sign Borussia Dortmund star
Chelsea have entered the race to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and could make a formal bid of around £20million in January.
The Gabon striker has been in red-hot form so far this season, already scoring over 20-goals for the Bundesliga outfit, and that has alerted several clubs around the world.
Three Premier League clubs are already interested in Aubameyang, with Arsenal and Liverpool both lining up formal bids, but Chelsea are the latest side to enter the race.
Strikers Wanted
With the Blues struggling for goals so far this season, with Diego Costa, Radamel Falcao and Loic Remy all failing to net on a regular basis, Jose Mourinho could be ready to add a further striker to his squad.
The likes of Gonzalo Higuain and Antoine Griezmann have been linked with moves to Stamford Bridge in recent weeks, but Aubameyang is the latest name to be mentioned.
The 26-year-old already has 23 goals this season, and if he does move to Chelsea, he’d be eligible to play in the Champions League due to Dortmund playing in the Europa League.
