Chelsea eye move for Serie A star
Chelsea have made a move to sign AS Roma for Emerson Palmieri. The Blues are still not confident that have convinced Alex Sandro to join them and have started looking for alternatives.
Antonio Conte is desperate to sign a full back to provide competition for Marcos Alonso. Apart from the Spaniard, he has no one else to play in the left wing.

Sandro has has always been the first choice since the summer, but Chelsea aren’t prepared to spend £60 million on the Brazilian. He is now a target for Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United as well.
Apart from Palmieri and Sandro, FC Porto’s Alex Telles has also been linked with The Blues. However, they will concentrate only on Emerson if he is available in the region of £20 million.
