Blues considering move for former-Manchester United striker

Chelsea are considering a shock move for Javier Hernandez, just months after he left Manchester United.

The Blues are struggling to find the back of the net this season, despite having the likes of Diego Costa, Eden Hazard, Oscar and Cesc Fabregas in their side.

Willian is the only regular on the score-sheet these days for Jose Mourinho, and the club are ready to put things right in January.

According to reports, Hernandez is a real possibility for the Blues as the Mexican continues to impress with new side Bayer Leverkusen.

Hernandez’ Career

After Louis van Gaal stated he didn’t want the striker, he left Old Trafford and agreed to join the Bundesliga side, where he’s gone on to score 12 goals in 19 games for both club and country.

Hernandez was out on-loan last season with Real Madrid, but after failing to impress there, he returned to Manchester United only to be told he had no future there either.

If Leverkusen do decide to sell already, Chelsea are confident they could lure him to Stamford Bridge with an offer worth around ÂŁ8.5million.

There are long-running concerns regarding Diego Costa‘s fitness, and Radamel Falcao has failed to impress during his loan-spell, while Loic Remy is still not proving his worth.
