£12m move planned for Southampton striker
Chelsea are reportedly planning a £12million for Southampton star, Graziano Pelle.
It’s thought that Chelsea see Pelle as a smart financial option in the market for a Premier League-proved striker, and would be willing to hand him a one-year deal at Stamford Bridge.
Morata remains their first choice but crunch talks are set to be held between his agent, Juanma Lopez, and Madrid this week.
They exercised their £23m buy-back clause with Juventus but can sell the striker for a profit.
Conte is set to play 3-5-2 next season and Chelsea know they need to add options in attack after they let Radamel Falcao and Alexandre Pato leave following their loan spells.
They’ve already signed striker Michy Batshuayi from Marseille on Sunday, for a £33million fee.
Diego Costa, as it stands, is set to stay at Chelsea this summer, despite interest from his former club, Atletico Madrid.
