Chelsea favourite destined for Manchester City?

It appears Manchester City are becoming more and more frustrated with current manager, Manuel Pellegrini. Every day it seems someone, somewhere, suggests he won’t be in situ on the blue side of Manchester after the summer.

By all accounts, City have approached former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti, according to reports in Italy.

With pressure continually building on Pellegrini, City bosses are looking to the future and have Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti in their plans for the future.

Ancelotti himself is under pressure at Real after finding his club in the wake of Barcelona following the recent defeat to their rivals.

Pellegrini replaced Roberto Mancini at City in 2013, winning the title in his first season but there is no doubt Chelsea have been way and above City’s standards this term.

City currently sit six points behind Chelsea and have played one more game than the Premier League leaders and having been knocked out of the Champions League last week by Barcelona, are in danger of no silverware at all this season.

Yes, management at the highest level is fickle, even cut-throat….but shouldn’t Pellegrini be allowed more time to build his side? The jury is out.
