Conte is yet to find a replacement for Branislav Ivanovic, who left Stamford Bridge last season, and has depending on Victor Moses to fill the wing-back position.
Now after missing out on Dani Alves and Danilo recently, the Blues boss is now looking into other options.
According to ESPN, Conte is now keen on Barcelona’s Sergi Roberto.
Roberto, best known for scoring that famous dramatic winner in a victory for Barca over PSG last season, spent most of the campaign playing at right-back but is also capable of a midfield role.
Chelsea have so far signed Willy Caballero, Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata this summer, and more new faces are expected to arrive at Stamford Bridge before the transfer window shuts next month.
