The Blues have had a struggle offloading Diego Costa after Conte told him he is not in the plans for next season

At first it was thought Costa would immediately go back to Atletico Madrid, however, that plan seems to be foiled by the fact that Madrid has a ban active which does not allow them to make any transfers.

IT was also reported that a Chinese Super League club would take him, but then club from China debunked the reports calling them fake news.

Chelsea will weigh up a loan deal for outcast striker Diego Costa.

The Times claim Antonio Conte met Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich last week to discuss their plans for the future.

The Russian businessman agreed with the former Juventus chief that Costa will leave west London this summer.

It’s suggested Chelsea are keen to find a buyer for the Brazil-born forward.

However, they will consider a loan switch for the first half of the campaign if one does not emerge.

Meanwhile Chelsea’s hunt for Alex Sandro as it’s being reported Conte has found another option and a much better value.
