Blues want Bakayoko from French side
Chelsea believe they are in pole position to land Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.
Bakayoko is just one of the players who made a name for himself during Monaco’s thrilling Champions League tie with Manchester City, scoring final goal that ultimately sent the Ligue 1 side through to the quarter-finals on away goals.
He is wanted by a list of European clubs, including Manchester United, but’s thought he would prefer a move to Stamford Bridge.
They reckon Antonio Conte is a huge fan of the France Under-21 international and is willing to spend big this summer.
Bakayoko was recently called up to France’s senior squad to replace the injured Paul Pogba. The Mirror say Conte feels the Monaco star is a very good long-term option.
