Costa appears to have avoided serious injury
An X-ray on Diego Costa’s ankles has revealed that he has avoided serious injury while on international duty with Spain.
Costa was pulled from training this week after hurting his ankle and leg.
He was sent to Sanitas Clinic in La Moralej to undergo scans.
The the X-ray taken showed no serious damage and the striker will remain with the Spain squad until Tuesday as planned.
The Blues have relied on the 18 goals from Costa this season, a fantastic return after a poor season last campaign.
