Chelsea interested in former Liverpool star
Antonio Conte is increasingly making queries to find back-up for the inconsistent Alvaro Morata, and their search has taken them towards Stoke City striker Peter Crouch, according to a report in The Independent.
Chelsea have been looking at attacking options and have already included West Ham striker Andy Carroll in their scheme of things, although he was injured recently and could be out for as long as four months.

The Crouch potential move, however, could be riddled with problems: if Stoke do let go of the 37-year-old, they will need a replacement soon.
In the last seven years at Stoke, Crouch has found the back of the net 43 times in 189 games and has a one-year contract with the club with an option of extending for a further year in November.
Chelsea would ideally be looking to rope in Crouch on loan, with Conte not having enough faith in Michy Batshuayi as the back-up to Morata.
