Alvaro Morata has said the move to Chelsea is perfect club to “make an explosion” in his career.
Having completed his move from Real Madrid, he made his debut, after which Morata spoke about his decision to sign for Chelsea with the official Chelsea magazine (via the official Chelsea website), and he seems pretty pumed for what is to come.
Morata said: “I need to make an explosion in my career and I am at the perfect place, the perfect club to do that”.
Elaborating, he said: “I always think like a winner and I want to win everything it is possible to win. Last season the team won the Premier League and now we can try to win it again, and maybe the Champions League”.
After making his first full Chelsea debut when they played in their friendly which they won over Inter Milan, after Conte said Morata has to improve his physical condition to fit with his idea of football, but the player is working well.
The former Real Madrid star played 64 minutes of the 2-1 defeat in Singapore in which Chelsea had only a Geoffrey Kondogbia own goal to take away from the match.
