Chelsea have been linked with a £75million move for Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero.
It’s thought that the Blues have identified the Argentine as a potential replacement for Diego Costa, who has been rumoured to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
Conte sees the City star as the ideal man to replace his star striker, despite tensions between Aguero and Brazilian David Luiz following their clash at the Etihad earlier this season.
On top of Chelsea’s interest, Inter Milan are also thought to be preparing a bid, as they look to tempt Aguero with a move away from the Premier League entirely this summer.
Aguero will be offered a weekly wage packet of £300,000 to switch the Etihad for the San Siro with Pep Guardiola open to the move after the emergence of Gabriel Jesus and the availability of Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
