Chelsea fans won’t like this
Chelsea have granted Eden Hazard permission to talk to Real Madrid about a possible move this summer.
Hazard has been strongly linked with a move to Madrid this month, and Real Madrid’s former president Ramon Calderon has claimed the deal could well happen for around £100million.
Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has been a big fan of Hazard for a long time and wants him in his team next season.
Don Balon suggest Hazard would therefore have to take a pay cut in order to complete his move to Spain.
If he fails to do so the club will reportedly end their pursuit and turn their attention to other candidates, but for now, Chelsea have allowed Hazard to discuss wages with Real Madrid.
